Ho scritto questa newsletter stamattina in metro, mentre andavo a lavoro. Ancora non era successo niente.

"Avrei voluto parlarvi di J. K. Rowling e il suo sesto libro, Harry Potter & The Half-Blood Prince, comprato a mezzanotte di venerdi scorso e divorato in 5 giorni.
Dovevo parlarvi anche di un programma di Channel 5, The Wright Stuff, dove sono andata un paio di volte come audience.
Ma la mia testa e' da tutt'altra parte e sarebbe inutile fingere e raccontarvi qualcosa giusto per tenervi buoni quando in realta' altri pensieri affollano la mia mente.
Ho conosciuto una persona la scorsa settimana, che ha lasciato qualcosa di forte e indelebile dentro di me.
E' riuscito in un giorno a entrare nella mia vita come pochi, se non nessuno, abbiano mai fatto, lasciando una sensazione di felicita' e benessere che non provavo da tanto tempo e che avevo quasi dimenticato.
Una persona speciale, anche se lo conosco appena, o forse era un giorno speciale quello che ci ha fatto incontrare.
Questa newsletter e' dedicata a lui e a tutte le passioni impossibili, forse belle perche' tali.
Un'ora, un'eternita'... Quando le parole non servono, basta guardarsi... e sfiorarsi..
Ed eccola l'eternita', l'eternita' di un momento che non potra' mai essere distrutto, restera' per sempre con te e non puoi che ritenerti fortunato per averlo colto e vissuto.
Per me quell'attimo e' arrivato per caso, inaspettatamente, ma sono riuscita a fermarlo e a viverlo, e anche se ancora un po' frastornata e sconbussolata dal tutto, posso assicurarvi che restera' sempre con me.
Passione, Amore... Per un'ora, per sempre... Non ha importanza e' vivere quel momento che fa la differenza.
Beh, prossima settimana forse saro' piu' seria e concreta, lo spero, ma per oggi dovete accontentarvi di pensieri sconclusionati...
Ah.. la Vita...

Poche ore piu' tardi... Era di nuovo il terrore. Adesso e' sera, e ancora una volta sto scrivendo in metro, ma, sinceramente, non ho piu' niente da dire.


I wrote this newsletter this morning on the tube, on my way to work. Nothing had yet happened.

I wanted to talk about J. K. Rowling and her sixth book, Harry Potter & The Half-Blood Prince, as I bought it last Friday at midnight and I downed it in 5 days.
I was also supposed to tell you about a programe on Channel 5, The Wright Stuff, where I've been a couple of times last week as an audience.
But my head is completely somewhere else an it would have no sense to fake it and write about a different subject just to keep you quiet, when in fact other thoughts are overcrowding my mind.
I met someone last week, who left something strong and permanent in my life.
In only one day he entered my life as few others, if not anyone, did so far, leaving a feeling of absolute happiness and well-being, that I did not feel for a long time, so long I was about to forget how it felt like.
I believe he's special, even if I do not know him, or maybe it was a special day the one we met.
This newsletter is for him and for all those "impossible passions", perhaps so beautiful because of the way they are.
One hour, an eternity... When you do not need to talk, looking at each other and brushing against each other is enough to say all.
And there it is... The eternity, the eternity of an istant, that could never be destroyed, it will last forever and you can only think how lucky you have been to catch it and live it.
For me that moment arrived last week, without any notice, but I managed to stop it and to live it, and even if I'm still a bit stunned and confused for the whole thing, I can promise you that that istant will be always with me.
Lust, Love... For an hour, forever, it is not important, what matter is to live that moment when it happens.
Well, perhaps next week I will be more serious and pragmatic, at present I can only please you with these thoughts...
Ah... Life...

Few hours later, it was terror again.
Once more I'm writing on the tube... But, to be honest with you, I haven't got anything else to say.
