“We are gonna die! My country! My people! Only two years left!”
La settimana scorsa siamo andati a vedere Avatar, all’Odeon di Holloway Road.
“Have you seen other James Cameron’s movies?”
“Oh yes! I saw Titanic when it came out. That was a hell of surprise at the end.”
“Yes, you’re right. Nobody expected Jack Dawson to die. Not in that way.”
“I’m not talking about Jack, dumbass. I’m talking about the ship. I wouldn’t have never expected it to sink. That was unsinkable. I was so shocked!”
“Allright Lizzie, allright. Let’s watch this one now.”
Abbiamo indossato gli occhialini 3D.
“What are they for?” mi ha chiesto.
“This movie is in 3D. You’ll see the difference in a minute.”
“Oh my God! The ship is real! Run for life, people!”
“Hey, it’s not real. It’s 3D. Not real.”
“Do you think so?”
“Yes, trust me.”
Dopo dieci minuti, di nuovo.
“Oh God, the beast is coming to us. Run. Everybody run. Save your souls!”
“Lizzie, that’s not a real beast. It looks real because you are wearing those glasses.”
“So it’s just the glasses.”
”Yep!”
Dopo venti minuti, ancora.
“Back off you! Beware everybody, that giant blue bitch wants to kill us!”
“Lizzie, once for all, that-is-not-real. It’s just a movie. Figures.”
“Ok. Sorry. But it looks SO real.”
“It was indeed.”
“I want to visit that place before I die.”
“Maybe Lizzie, maybe.”
“I love 3D world! Look at these people. They look so real. Look at these buildings, they look so real. Look at these cars. They look so-“ PAM!
“Fuck, that was damn real!”

“She actually believes they talk too.”
“Don’t worry.” ho detto io “She’s perfectly fine.”
